afternoon tea :)

so we decided to go to afternoon tea at the boulder tea house
which has amazing ceilings
and so first
they brought out the tea pots with an hour glass to measure steeping   time
and these delicious home made sugar cubes
1
2
3
then they brought out these wrapped figs which were so tasty
and then the tower of holiness. The scones on the bottom were probably the best things I've ever had in my life
then this tray of amazingness to go along with the tower of holiness
the cream and the strawberry jam on the scone was to die for
such deliciousness
the extra side order of cream we asked for
then we took some pictures
outside of it
and of them
on the way out we passed this beautiful blooming rose
and after at my internship the sky decided to be amazing
and
I saw a double rainbow!
and then the sky really was
breathtaking

baseball game!

so after eating the smallest cheesecake ever
we went for a twilight walk

where we saw this bee getting nectar from a flower
and picked these pretty flowers
which we put in a vase when we got back
the next day we went out to dinner
where I got a pulled pork sandwich which was really good
and their bread was sooooo gooddd
and for dessert we shared apple pie :)
the next day we went to the coors baseball stadium in denver
where the colorado rockies and the chicago white sox were playing
and we ended up having pretty good seats
and of course chowing down on the most amazing baseball hotdogs

AMAZING PAPER STORE THAT I CAN'T GET OVER

so we went to Alfalfa's for lunch

and got a spicy tuna roll

vegetable minestrone soup

and a tomato mozzarella and pesto melt to share

the quote underneath my tea's bottle cap

then we went to the most amazing paper store ever of all time

because it was just so beautiful inside

with all these amazing notebooks on great wooden shelves

and wax seals on the counter

along with little clock faces

old type writers

and these awesome fine tipped ink pens

I was in love

then we went into the back where there was a whole wall of ribbons

and this cool window to the side

and the rest was just glorious paper products

with the walls just filled with different papers ranging from japanese screen printed paper to hemp based paper

this was really cool hand woven paper

I want my whole house to look like this store

and there were also a bunch of great coffee table kinda books as well

the next day we went to Turley's

to get chai teas

might I say the best chai teas in the world

they're literally the best I've ever had

then we went to the sport club

where there was a tandem bike that was just a littleeee too long

and then we sat by the pool and finished our teas :)
