1 year and 7 months :)

so for our 1 year and 7 month we decided to make penne ala vodka

so Jacob minced the garlic

oh yea look at that mincing action

while I was waiting for the oil to 'shimmer' whatever that meant

and while I was trying to 'strain' the tomato juice and pulp and puree and whatever else haha

but it really just looked like we had a terrible accident haha

so then we added the garlic and basil

to the tomato sauce 

and then

the vodka ;)

and while we were cooking we ate bread and oil...which was soo good

and after mixing the in cream it actually started to look like penne ala vodka sauce 

which was awesome

and cooking the pasta I added the sauce 

and it looked and smelled so good!

I can't believe how good it turned out

and then we decided to make strawberry shortcake so we started to make biscuits by mixing the dough

and then

flattened it onto a cutting board 

then we washed the strawberries 

which looked sooo good

and after baking 

the biscuits were amazing looking 

and after cutting up the strawberries

and making whipped cream

I put it all together and it was sooo yummy

like really you all have to try this 

and the next morning 

we went for a short hike :)
