so we went to noodles & company which I had never been to before
and we got these awesome home made rice krispies
and mac n' cheese with chicken which was really good
then there was the whole continuation of making the dumb croissants
and so we rolled it out
and folded it
and we did this about 10 times and realized we still needed to let it rise overnight which we were very angry about
so since we couldn't wait we just made a small one
because the directions said we wouldn't be able to make them until the next morning
so we put the little one in the toaster oven
and after taking a break
we took it out of the fridge and began cutting
and folding them
into a little army of croissants
and in the morning we finally baked them. My advice, don't make croissants unless you have like three days to kill
that afternoon we went to the farmers market
which was full of
fresh greens
and beautiful flowers :)
like these
and these
and lots of bake stands like this one with these delicious looking cupcakes and cookies
I just couldn't get over how beautifully fresh all the greens were and how good they smelled
oh and ya know I brought my farm stand along
I had a great harvest of radishes
and leafy greens this year
there was also this guy making flour on the spot which was cool
and all this awesome looking pasta
especially this one
and then we came upon heaven
and tasted the best almonds ever of all time
the beautiful flowers Jacob bought me :)
I couldn't get over them
and when we put them in the vase
they were even more spectacular
