First hike of the summer!!!

so after seeing the new x-men we went out and got margaritas 

and burritos which were very tasty

oh and this is my apple pie sliced with my cinnamon ice cream on top..soo good!

anyway the next day we went for mexican again

but instead of margaritas we got a pitcher of dos equis :)

and a fish burrito 

then I did a photo shoot 

which he was very happy about

but he was so hot

I couldn't help myself

anyway the next day we went for the first hike of the summer!

which I was very excited about

because Jacob said the views were going to be amazing

just looking back on where we came from the view was awesome 

so we headed toward the mountain

and as we got closer

we got more and more

excited

then we reached the trail head 

and we went over and took a look at the map

and saw where we were going...

we went to woods quarry if you can follow the path and see where we went

so the hike began 

and it looked like a diorama or something

and as we were walking there were all these pretty blue flowers

then we came upon these steps

and after walking up them we came to a pine tree forest 

which was really awesome 

and pretty

:)

and so we followed the path 

through this really cool looking grass

past these pretty flowers

and as we got through the forest 

the ground started getting drier 

and we got onto another path

where the rocks started to become more broken up and we knew we were almost there

ta-da!! the amazing view at the top!!

it really was

spectacular 

and there were these cool rock chairs someone had made

the clouds were awesome

yep I conquered that trail

the.best.chips.ever

we had packed a little picnic, with salads, tea, a croissant, the chips and a dark chocolate bar with orange peels in it...sooo good

yummy!

so after we ate

Jacob saw a deer

and then we took some self-timer

shots

and after looking out once more

like really how awesome is this?!

we decided to climb up the rocks

which were pretty steep

and slippery

but he did it

and then

it was my turn

:)

and before we headed down I saw these pretty cactus flowers

and on the way down we passed those pretty grasses again

and this awesome rock suspended in the tree's roots 

and the view was still spectacular even down the mountain

and the field was beautiful

and the sun was setting just perfectly 

I couldn't get over how smooth the mountains in the distance looked

and when we got back we played Janga 

which was pretty crazy

and

as I went I picked this brick

which probably wasn't a good idea

because it all came crashing down
